How to Root an Android Phone Without a Computer


Most of us have heard of rooting Android phones. Rooting your phone basically gives you privileged access to system files that may be required by some apps to run properly, or even at all. Many think that this is a hard thing to do. Well, with the advent of technology, things become easy to do. That is the focus of this article (and this blog) – to learn to do things the easy way.
So today we’ll learn to root an android device, using only the phone, without the need for a computer.

The app we’ll use for the process is framaroot. You can download it from here . (

So here we go:

How to install:
1. Download Framaroot from the framaroot site
2. Run, choose Superuser or SuperSU
3. Select Boromir or any other exlpoit
4. You will see 🙂
5. Reboot device
6. Root- installed

For a list of Android devices that support this method, check from this site. Also, you can download RootChecker to verify if your device is truly rooted.

UPDATE: You can also use the towel root app if the above doesn’t work. Download from the site. Just tap on the lamba sign to download and follow the instructions.
